Thanks Richard but that means doing the same job twice surely it would be
a lot simpler for Audacity to change to a decent tagger instead of using
the monster that they do

Hi Colleen Before anyone can help we will need to know what you were using to play the cassette If needs be you can make a copy and either send it to me or if you live near Yorkshire you can bring it over as I have a cassette deck that connects up through the USB ports and makes working with cassett...

There is a new cassette deck which plugs into one of your ports on the PC it is called TAPE2PC and is made by a firm called ION. I payed £99.00 for mine and find it is brilliant,it also tells you how to use with Audacity I got my from a firm called djstore.co.uk simply because they didn't charge for...

Can anyone let me know if it is possible to edit the (Edit ID3 Tags) and delete the ones that I don't want. I only use about 6 different types of music but it takes so long to find them that I end up tagging all my music as Oldies even the Christmas Carols.
