Label Track length doesn't change after truncate of others
I'm using version 1.3.10 Beta and have recorded about 9 overdub tracks and then used a label track to notate where verses start / solos, fade-in / fade-out's etc. When about ready to bounce it down, then I got rid of about 4 bars of click that precedes the pickup into the 1st verse and the added stu...

Shift-R loses offset after Ctrl-C / Ctrl-V
I had posted before about overlaying several tracks and getting Brrrp/Stutter during record. So.... to try and be judicious about my use of tracks, I make a selection on the guitar track referencing the click track of only the Chorus of the tune (it appears several times in the song) then lay in a n...

Re: Brrrrrp...Stutter - 1.3.9 sound on sound rec'ding
I would suggest you export each track separately as a WAV before doing anything else I must be missing something, because if I select the track I only get the length of it with no offset info attached. I "export selection" as .wav and then when reimporting, it comes in as Zero, but may not belong t...

Brrrrrp...Stutter - 1.3.9 sound on sound rec'ding
I'm a multi-instrument / vocal musician and am laying down track overlays using a clicktrack. So far, I put down 1 - click, 2- guitar 1, 3- guitar 2, (drop in where playing errors on track2 happened) 4- bass 1, 5- guitar solo 6- bass 2 ( drop in where playing errors on track4 happened) Now when atte...

Re: Mystery Static -Mac QuickSilver Dual Proc.
I know that the relevance to this is only partial, but in using a Mac QuickSilver system I have a consistent problem with digitized audio. The input was initially through an M-Audio Fastrack (USB) which I could monitor from both the M-Audio and the sound card output and both were OK. However, when p...

Re: Get error message when I use save as...
Thanks Koz, I was saving the projects in C:Program FilesAudacity 1.3 Beta (Unicode)ProjectsSong NameSong Name.aup The results that I was getting was intermittent and I don't think that I had any strange punctuation beyond the "space" between words. I did use Caps and lowercase though. I've since mov...

Re: Get error message when I use save as...
I too am getting this error message but I have not tried the work around that has been stated above. I am using 1.3.9 (Beta) Unicode on a Win2k laptop. What I have done instead is to "save as compressed project" which works by compressing each track into an Ogg Vorbis file format. It then at least i...
