You probably need a vocoder type of plug-in. With Audacity "as-is" you can simulate some robot-like or distortion effects with wah-wah, phaser, Noise Removal at extreme settings, or an extreme hard limit then amplify it back up. As for plug-ins try: http://www.audacity-forum.de/download/e...
