It's logical, but I don't know how to cause that to happen. Audacity's project rate is 44100 -- doesn't that control both recording and playback? Gram16 is set at 44k ... so I don't know what it could be. Do you know what could be set in the computer that would cause that ratio to be expressed? Maes...

Now here is a problem. When I record in Audacity, on playback, the frequency of the recorded signal is raised. I just recorded a tone at 261.62 Hz and it played back at 287 Hz. This is a problem that shows up in Audacity but may actually be a soundcard problem. I'm asking about it on this forum because of the depth of expertise here in hopes that someone might have a solution. If I sing a pitch and record it, it plays back just about one half step higher than I recorded it...
