Yes, that is what I am saying, but I'm also saying that this other person does all of those things too, and does not have the same level of sound degradation that I am getting. I believe that what is happening to my files is a more than normal sound degradation problem.

Being new to this I really didn't understand the problem with mp3s, so thanks for that info. However, the other person working on this show used Audacity and worked totally with mp3s, and did not have the major issues with sound quality that I am having. I am mixing an audio drama show. All the actors send their lines to me as mp3s at 44,100hz and 128kbps. I export the finished product the same way. MP3 sound quality problem
I am having this problem in v. 1.3.7 using Windows Vista. When I export an mp3, it comes out sounding "wet" or warbly. WAV's are not much better. I have not changed any of the default settings, because they were what I needed to use when exporting. Any ideas as to the problem? I am fairly ...
