I tried to download the 1.3.8 version with the same problem. No automatic download from any source/mirror. Wish I knew why I'm having this download problem.

there is no such thing as "completely stable"

I realized the silliness of that statement as soon as I sent it...I will try the download later although I don't see why that would work when the other didn't but then again this is mostly mysterious for me anyway

I will definitely look out for 2.0. It is just that I have an immediate need to make a voice recording (my first experience with recording) and the use of the expression "completely stabile" is something to be devoutly wished for. I will probably wind up trying it.

Since I am not a really experienced user I am reluctant to try a Beta version of anything but I suppose it is safe enough.( Reading the comments, I am assuming that some "happy" people, at least, are Vista people.) I may try it. So frustrating!

I have tried downloading 1.2.6 repeatedly with no success. I get no installation activity whatsoever.

I am having an impossible time downloading it on Vista. I have tried all the options, followed the instructions, and still nothing. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
