I'm using a Veho USB turntable.

Perhaps the problem is the drivers? When I tried to update the drivers using the device manager the wizard couldn't find software that was a better match for my hardware.

Thanks It is the same computer, so I thought it might be the dreaded windows automatic updates causing the problem. I'm having trouble with my audacity software. Where I used to see microphone/stereo mix on the drop down menu I now see microphone/mono out/waveoutmix/cdplayer. As a result I cannot select the USB device under audio IO. I have tried reloading the software. Previously it worked fine.

Any ideas?
