The manual says that on "devices" you have a choice between Windows MME and Windows Direct Sound. Thanks, but yes, I can see that by dropping down the menu. Thanks much! I'll look forward to 1.3.3. From experience with film editing, it is much easier to be able to leave "dead space" between clips on a track!

I have multiple tracks. The first has some sound. Then, where that sound ends on the first track, the next bit of sound starts on the second track. Now, i want to paste sound into the first track again, but at the ppoint where the sound ends on the second track, i.e. at the end of the entire project...
