Thanks Steve for such a prompt rely, I had read that "vocal isolation" post. However, there is no vocal on the track, just the music with a rotten cymbal beat.

I have exhausted myself looking thru' the forums. Can I remove, dull or lower an unpleasant cymbal beat in a Karaoke disc? I have not yet downloaded Audacity, cause I cannot find if it can do exactly what I need. Can other instruments be isolated and lowered in sound or removed completely? I am an a...
