Thanks, but that is exactly the problem...there is no "Preferences" choice in the Audacity "Edit" dropdown menu on my copy of it anyway.???

Cannot access "Preferences-Devices" to set Latency
Hi I am new here and to Audacity. I have read the manual and seen tutorials on how to set the Latency correction. I have gotten almost all the way there, however when I go to "Edit" to access the "Perferences-Devices" tab, there is no option under 'edit" for "Preferences" so I am stuck. I'm using Ma...
