Save as WAV
I had cause to reload my Audacity programme. which I've had and practiced with for some time now. Therefor when I wanted to transfer to file a recording, I found no option available. ie. WAV MP3 etc. have I loaded the programme forgetting something.

I went into my McAfee security box and highlighted Computer and files configure, found Buffer overflow protection. and unticked.
so far no drop outs

Thanks for that suggestion regarding .au and .aup extensions.
I know how to allow access to various programmes in McAfee. But I am at a loss on how to identify these particular extensions

McAfee causing drop outs
Is there any way I can record either from internet music sites or CD's with McAfee security system still active. Too avoid experiencing these drop outs.
