I created a project at 48000: I exported a wav file with the project rate at 48000: I exported the same file to a wav, with the project rate set to 44100: I burned both wav files onto a CD ...

Hi Fedora Core 8 Audacity 1.3.5-beta Jack 1.9.1-0 If I set my 'Project Rate' setting to 44100 I can record for about 0.6 seconds and then, although recording continues, no sound is recorded.
