Re: Non-Matching ACX Checks export into .mp3
****SOLUTION:***** I still have to play with the mix -- but instead of "Riding the Edge" of the (Peak/RMS) limits, I shoot for more "headroom" --shoot for the -19/-20 dB RMS and instead of a tight -3.01 dB peak, I'll go -3.1 to -3.5 (a little more headroom for music/sfx projects). The other is I run...

Re: Non-Matching ACX Checks export into .mp3
RE: Copyright: I went to a fee sfx site, and paid the minimal ($3) fee for use under 10,000 sales (including paid projects). I have used other efx/music jingles like this before for a couple of other projects. What I see as broken: On export to an mp3, the Levels are increasing by .03 - .07 db, RMS ...

Non-Matching ACX Checks export into .mp3
Using Audacity 2.3.2 on Windows 10 Enterprise I am exporting a file as an .mp3 The original passes the ACX Check (Peak -3.01; RMS -22.8; Noise -69) . That exported file fails when uploaded into ACX Audio Lab (although it doesn't Flag -- "No Issues Found"; the downloaded parameters show hot levels) a...

ACX Check long or short sample checks?
I just downloaded the new 2.4.1 on Windows 7. It runs better for me than 2.3.3 An issue I had on 2.3.3, and still on 2.4.1 is getting different results for running ACX Check on 5 min samples vs. 25 minute sample sizes. I am keeping the clips broken to under the :37-ish minute/100M bit max. On 2.3.3:...

Re: Wrong Cover Art
Steve: You da best! I bow to the master :D ! Thanks for the added info on CD's not supporting artwork. I was surprised, because my Windows Media Player showed the art for some files but not others. I also downloaded the new Winamp with the same results (remember the old AOL Winamp? This is faster lo...

Re: Wrong Cover Art
Steve: Thanks for the quick reply. My question, then, is how the artwork got attached to the file somehow in the MP3 Export? That was the last edit before I uploaded the files. I did have the Metadata editor pop up with the incorrect info -- meaning the info from the downloaded music clip -- and I h...

Wrong Cover Art
Using Windows 7: Audacity 2.3.3 I had to do some Metadata edits on some ACX/Audibles books (QA rejected on grounds of Author's title didn't match the book art). When I downloaded the files from the ACX site, the files have artwork attached from a song downloaded (purchased) for my current project, a...
