I don't know of a way to auto save, but Audacity has Sound Activated Recording. Audacity > Edit > Preferences > Recording > Sound Activated Recording. I use that currently. The problem is when it run 24/7 the file would get insane big and is not good to rehear if something happened back then. :? So...

Automatic Gain Control on Recording? (Autosave?)
Hi
I have a huge problem I record Audio on Amateur Radio and some people scream in there Radio and some whisper so our Software often record to loud or nothing who is hearable.
Is there a way to Auto Save after 60Minutes + when its silent to not cutoff any Radio Call?
