I'll suggest changing the theme to "Dark" - it makes the cursor stand out a lot more!

I was having the same issue, but when I changed the interface to dark. That helped me out tremendously on being able to see the I-Beam curser. Update: I'm now using 2.3.0 and the problem doesn't exist.

Audacity 2.3.2 is where the problem occurred. I tried 2.2.0, where the problem turned out not to exist, and now I'm slowly going upward trying to find out where it went wrong.
I'm using a single display.
As far as I know, it's at native resolution.
