The Katana amp controls do not have any effect on USB output. I would be surprised if anyone would not try that first.

Well just for the "record" the Amp controls have no effect. I should add that while Audacity monitors, it will not record. Thanks all.

Does this normality mean the Boss Katana is unusable with Audacity?

I upgraded to 2.4.2, uninstalled and reinstalled Boss driver. Same problem. The input volume is maxed and cannot be adjusted.

I am having an associated problem. Boss Katana Amp to Audacity. Everything recognised, but input volume jumps to max even with everything turned right down.

I seem to have an input problem. The Boss Katana amp is detected by Audacity, but when I switch input to the Katana, the volume jumps to maximum. Otherwise, the Katana drivers are up to date and Audacity 2.3.3 functions. Any thoughts?

OK. It looks like I have solved this problem simply by shutting down the computer and rebooting. However, that has led me to another problem which I have to investigate. I may be back.

Hi. I am on Mac 10.14.6 with Audacity 2.3.3. I had a problem with the USB mic not being detected in a previous version of Audacity. So I downloaded 2.3.3 and it worked fine. It detected the USB mic.
