Re: Why does the volume suddenly jump to 100% when editing my music on Audacity?
Since it is only in Audacity when the speakers suddenly jump up to full throttle, I have thought that maybe I accidentally hit the track gain slider. However, if I did, then wouldn't I have to adjust the slider back to its original position after the volume jumped up? In other words, when I was star...

Re: Why does the volume suddenly jump to 100% when editing my music on Audacity?
Thank you Trebor for these two ideas. Since it is only in Audacity when the speakers suddenly jump up to full throttle, I have thought that maybe I accidentally hit the track gain slider. However, if I did, then how come I wouldn't have to adjust the slider after the volume jumped up? In other words...

Why does the volume suddenly jump to 100% when editing my music on Audacity?
Hello, I have Windows 10 Home and the 2.2.2 version of Audacity. I am wondering why the volume suddenly and randomly jumps to 100% on my speakers that are connected to my laptop while I am editing my music on Audacity? For no apparent reason, this has happened 3 times and as a result I have done the...
Re: *crash*
Thank you. Do you have any ideas about what I should try next? I saw somewhere about doing this: The overwhelming majority of VST effect plug-ins should display and process correctly. If an incompatible VST plug-in does cause a problem, click the Manage button in the effect's dialog then choose "Opt...
Re: *crash*
Does anyone have any feedback on these questions? I'm grateful for anyone's help. I'm wondering if I should have a particular driver installed to go along with Spitfish? If so, what do you recommend? Also, which de-ssing program is best between Spitfish and Lisp? I really would rather try to make Sp...

Steve, I'm wondering if I should have a particular driver installed to go along with Spitfish? If so, what do you recommend? Also, which de-ssing program is best between Spitfish and Lisp? I really would rather try to make Spitfish work if possible. If I cannot do this, then I would resort to Lisp.
Re: *crash*
My Spitfish version was also 1.1
Re: *crash*
Steve, I upgraded to 2.2.2 and tried using Spitfish again but the Audacity screen left me again when I hit the play button. I had turned off the "listen" button in order to preview my adjustments of sensor and depth knobs. As to your earlier question, I'm not sure how to determine what version of Sp...
Re: *crash*
Yes, the crash only happens when Spitfish is open. This has never happened before. The first time was when using Spitfish.
