Audacity Forum

I have tried every known way to man to try and get the line in box thingy to stop graying out, I have read all the posts here and tried swithching all the recording ticks ect.., on windows xp pro but to no evail. Please somebody save my sanity and tell how to do this some other way than already sugg...
