Well Koz you said that Wav doesn't do Multi-track well I beg to differ. I have don't some records and put the songs into multiple tracks on the wav and mp3 format and the do play. So Wav does do multi-tracks.

Thank you for this. I understand about audacity. I have been transferring my records music into mp3 and wav for Cd's. You see I make clocks out of these records and therefor I need to save the music.

I had the same problem except I had records to convert to mp3 or cd's. Well after I watched youtube videos and read some. I have put export my music into wav as well as mp3 format. But I would like to save this put I get this warning box saying the save project is for a audacity project not a audio file . But I would like to save this as a back up. Can I do this.

By the way at the top I see both L and R lines is working even though I only hear the music playing and not the singing.

I am not sure if I have done this right about removing the voice remover effect. I hit the Ctrl -A and both lines of sound still came through even though I still hear the singing very faint. I am thinking that is the bad recording of this record I have no problem with other records but only this one...

No No No You guys don't get it. I record with a Album with singing to it. I did it with one record and it did fine but with this one it doesn't record the singing part just the music and I DONT MEAN WITH A MICROPHONE OR PUTTING IN THE WRONG CABLES!!!

I mean with a LP or Albuml

I have record music with singing along with the music with one record but with another record just the music and not the singing and yet I can't understand why. I do hear the music but when I record it just the music comes through and not the singing
