I absoltuly love Audacity and I use it all the time, but it's recenlty become very unstable. It works fine after a fresh boot-up, but if I go off and do other stuff my files no longer play (play bar just stays where positioned and flashes. thx much for any suggestions. Up until a week ago this never mattered, but now if the sample rate is anything other than 96000 I can’t record (time line...

It is probably a hardware fault with the sound card (not uncommon with on-board sound cards). This is a probably a simple thing, but I can't find any posts on the topic. Recently switched computers. My mic now generates a waveform at about -0.1 rather than right at 0.0. Anyone know how to fix... greatly appreciate any help.
