No doubt it is an unusual application; thanks for considering at any rate. I suppose if you allow fractional frequency, you also have to deal with such things as whether the decimal place is indicated by "." as in the US or "," as in some other countries.

1 Hz - 100 Hz limits on spectrogram
Audacity 2.2.2 on Windows 10. This is a great program! ...with a few annoyances...as with previous versions, if I enter a Spectrogram Settings start frequency below 1 Hz or end frequency below 100 Hz it doesn't work. I get a warning dialog such as "Maximum frequency must be 100 Hz or above"...

scripting: peak, RMS levels from command line?
I have Audacity v2.1.2 on Ubuntu 17.04 and it works OK. I would like to get the kind of audio statistics that the "ACX Check" plugin displays (peak, RMS and noise floor) but under script control and entirely from the command line. http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Nyquist_Analyze_Plug-ins#...

Audacity 2.2.1 on Windows 10. If I select a near-silent segment (just low-level noise around -80 dB) and do Effect/Amplify, I get "Validation error : Value not in range: -130.767 to -30.767" Amplify would always work on signals of any level in the older version I used until today (I think ...
