Audacity Forum

I dont have Audacity this file was sent to me. what do I do to open it? what tools?

Do I need to have the Audacity software/program to open this file? And if so, how do you do this?

I am using Windows 7.

the error message is "windows can't open this file".

My grandson sent me an .aup file and i downloaded it but cannot open it. I have Windows 7. I downloaded Audacity thinking I could open it with Audacity but again to no avail. Can someone help and direct me. Real newbie. Thanks
