I had this problem, but I finally noticed it was VLC problem: it somehow shows a wrong timing between audio part eventhough the total timing was the same.

When we drop several files into audacity, it create as many rows showing the waves form. It would be great to add a "bin" button to delete the local file (and close the row).

I need to listen to many audio files and delete (or trim) many of them (I'm using audacity because I need need to look at the wave form to see which part to listen). A button "delete the local file" would have been handy, but it's missing (I can only "close" the loaded sound file). What's the quicke...
