ok I did some more noodlin... I exported to a different file location instead of the default Audacity folder... and then it worked.
I am guessing this has something to do with permissions.... so if anyone knows a fix please let me know.

exported wav or mp3 files not showing up in explorer
I searched the board about this and I can't find any info or tips as to why this is happening. I am thinking a codec got updated and it's screwed something up. I have done this a zillion times, but this started happening today for no reason. If I export a wav or mp3 file, it's fine Audacity can open...

Hi all, I have 3 wav files in an audacity project. One is the original song, the other 2 are separate guitar tracks I recorded using my mixer and put in with a Behringer UCA 202. I play them and they sound fine. However I noticed when I exported them all out, the volume on them completely got booste...
