Im having a problem when I record my guitar. For some reason I can only pick up the left channel and not the right. Also playback is only through the left channel. So what im sayin is when I record, it only records left channel. Can anyone help a guy out?

Ok heres the deal. For some reason I cant hear my guitar when Im recording. When I playback what I recorded, I can hear it fine. Actually I checked, and it still hasnt fixed my problem. I got the mic volume up and my connections are all ok. Nothing is muted. Is it something I have to change in the Audio settings under preferences?

Thanks for the info. Quick question though, is the sound card mixer in audacity or is it in my computer options? Again Im a first time computer user, so Im still kinda new to this. Sorry for any inconvinence.
