I don't see where the 'file browser' button is?
Click the 'File Browser' button and select the plug-in file.
Click the 'OK' button to install, or 'Cancel'.
Carefully review the output message.
Use the Plug-in Manager to enable the installed plug-in.

Re: need to reduce hissing
Okay so how do I get the de esser that I've downloaded and which is sitting in my documents and which it won't let me open because I don't have an app installed that will open it-how do I get it over into Audacity?

Re: need to reduce hissing
I want to try the de esser plugin but I can't find it. It's not in my effects list. Actually I did download it I guess but Windows -I think- won't open the file. says 'no app associated to open this file' . I see most all these posts are from 7 years ago. Is this effect still being used? Windows 10.

need to reduce hissing
What might be a good way to reduce the hissing or lisping in my voice? Is there a filter? It's not extreme but I'm doing a demo voice over and it needs to be a little better. I'm using a pop filter on the mic. Otherwise it's all good.

noise problem looking for suggestions.
Windows 10 Aud. 2.3.0 I'm trying to make a voiceover demo and I'm getting some soft background white noise that I want to eliminate. It's not very bad but you don't want it for any finished professional product. I've tried all the different combinations of settings-windows direct sound, microphone (...

Re: I get a "flatline" when I record on Audacity
You have to completely shut down Audacity, then plug in the Yeti. Then restart Audacity. You may have done that. I just started using my Yeti again and the mic and speaker settings are critical-have to be showing Yeti on both when recording. On playback change the speaker from Yeti to a different sp...

editing question on inserting space
How would you insert some blank space say for one second in a vocal track? I'm doing a voiceover and want to put in a little more space between my words in various places.

finding beats per minute
Is there a way to determine the beats per minute of a song section to set a click track to record by? I was looking at Beat Finder under Analysis. Thanks.
