Re: Which Audacity to use: Unicode or beta (ANSI)

Thanks. For some reason, I closed Documents (all data), reopened and all the files are once again listed as either Wav. or MP3. Go figure. Should I delete Unicode?

Re: Which Audacity to use: Unicode or beta (ANSI)

Thanks Steve. Yet, I've just attempted to save one file for example, as Wav, 16 bit in Preferences, 16 bit Sample Format, and it again only shows in Documents as a data file. I cannot reopen it in Audacity. All versions of that recording are listed only as data. The only way I can open the file is R...

Also, the playback device in Audio I/O works with Realtek Hi Def Speakers and the Recording Device Windows Map. Why? I don't know, but this works. It then records two tr...

Playback sound woes

I have a UCB mic connected, it has worked couple of days ago, but today after recording, the playback is garbled. I know the mic's working, I have it plugged into mic input. Realtek sound card. No suppression is unchecked. Devices (Realtek speakers and mic) both enabled and checked. Device manager S...
