The maximum file size for a WAV file is 4 GB http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WAV#Limitations I simply didn't thought of that possibility. :oops: Another "better" workaround would be to export as RF64 WAV (see this post: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=239257#p239257), but note ...

I did a recording of about 8h 5m (timer). But sometimes after that the computer must have crashed, because i needed to reset it (didn't woke up from standby).
