thanks. you folks are terrific. so glad to be part of the audacity family. your ideas are great. I also find that if I use my a/d interface I can either go direct or save to a mp3 file and bring it in to an assigned track. thanks..

please forgive if this has been covered in nauseam...but I am a newcomer to digital, coming from a analog world. My question..what is the best way to transfer/copy something from a cd onto a track using the cd player in the computer? I am win 7 with 2.6. thanks so very much..

thanks for your quick reply. Perhaps I stated my question poorly. when i said performance i meant playback, i am trying to playback three or four tracks and while listening to them make adjustments. Ala using a mixing board and having the result go to another set of tracks or like having a second ma...

Hi folks.using win7...first post. new to the pgm. question..is it possible to continue to see mixing board and adjust volumes while song is playing. It seems to click off after an adjustment. part 2, can I change volumes on a track during performance and have it remain while mixing. thanks
