Aloha, Thanks for the reply. I have the mic enabled through windows. the mixer tool bar drop down menu still remians inacitve. It allows me to change volume but not pick the device. Aloha,

I am a very beginner. Just wanted to make some talking cd's (affirmation type stuff). I have a usb mic plugged into a usb port in front of my Dell 530. I do not seem to be able to choose which device to record from. When I try to choose from the mixer tool bar I am not even able to click on the drop...
