Based on that, if I understand correctly, I would change a 1/2 step tuned down tune to standard tuning by +1 semitone. Thanks again. Sweet Child O' Mine, here i come!

Pitch/Semitone Help
I would like to accomplish the following: 1. I would like to take a song that is played 1/2 step down and change the key or pitch so I can play along to that song in standard tuning. I.e. Most Guns 'N Roses tunes are tuned 1/2 step down, but I want to learn the tune using the same positions on the n...

Re: Move one note in track w/o affecting the rest of the tra
Koz, Yes, I'm using local storage on a 6-month old desktop. Shouldn't be an issue with performance in that regard. In the example track, you can see that Audacity corrected the time lag by shifting the track prior to zero start. No big deal there. I've highlighted four main time pieces - the issue i...

Auto-Stop
I think the stop button should be inferred when clicking on certain editing features (like cut / copy, etc.) - it would be more efficient during intensive editing to assume we want to click the stop button when we click the cut button...

Move one note in track w/o affecting the rest of the track
Hello folks! I'm having some slight latency issues which have affected only portions of a track. For example, one note in a sequence of notes starts late, but the other notes seem on beat. Is there a way to move just one "note," or a portion of a track without affecting the other notes in the track?...

Remove first two seconds from every track [SOLVED]
During the building of my tune, some of the tracks ended up before "time zero" - Audacity automatically corrected latency in my recording. So, I ended up giving myself some room to play around with as I built the rest of the tracks. That said, now I need to remove a couple of seconds from each track.

Re: Easiest way to reassemble wav files after export?
No, I just want the most efficient way to export 12 tracks at a time in wav format so I can hand them to other musicians to collaborate on. If there's a way to do it during the export, that would be great. === Do you want that for its own sake? Tracks > Mix and Render used to do that in some older v...

Re: Easiest way to reassemble wav files after export?
Steve, Thanks for the well-crafted and timely reply! This is exactly what I was attempting to do. The only suggestion I would have to improve the process is to have some sort of option - select track or tracks - and then have the ability to "add silence from time = 0 to start of track(s)". That woul...

Easiest way to reassemble wav files after export?
Hello! I'm using Audacity 2.0.5 and I've created a tune with about 10 different tracks. If I export all tracks as wav files, how can they be reassesmbled? Some are over 3 minutes, some are 25 seconds long, so they won't all line up if I simply just drag these wavs back into Audacity. So, for instanc...
