I have forgotten to inform you that the dropout on Audacity 2.0.5 occurred while playing back a pre-recorded audio file via "Build in" optical digital output of my MacPro.

My computer is not MacBookPro but "MacPro".
I think the dropout problem while playing back is only on Audacity 2.0.5.
Other versions of 2.0.1 to 2.0.4 have had another problems of timer recording, AIFF file reading, etc.

When I tried v2.05, sometimes small dropout occurs while playing back. The condition when dropout occur is uncertain, but the problem seems to be disappeared...
