Re: Assertion error encoding WMA

Has changing the WMA Export Options to 24 kbps created this problem?
Yes!!! You are right! I tried 32kbps and 64kbps WMA Export and the error had gone. Thank you very much.

Other format, mp3/ogg/m4a are available, only exporting to 24kbps WMA is abnormal.

Re: What's wrong with my Audacity?

I downloaded my Audacity 2.0.5 from http://audacityteam.org/ and the FFmpeg Library used in my Audacity also came from the official user guide (as showed above).

Re: What's wrong with my Audacity?

Are you a user or a developer? If only a user, please use Audacity 2.0.5 release from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/windows . You should only see assertion errors in debug versions of Audacity. Are you using FFmpeg from here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_installation_and_plug_i...

I did this yesterday and the day before yesterday, Audacity did a good job, but it didn't work well tonight, I...

It falls apart pretty fast if the noise is erratic or close to white noise (rain in the trees). Koz Medium wave radio static is steady and repeatable, but sh...

Re: Is Audacity suitable for me?

I doubt that you will have success trying to "un-mix" a recording with Audacity. You 'may' have some degree of success with Melodyne (commercial product and quite expensive: http://www.celemony.com/en/start). I know of no free or inexpensive software that can do what you're asking. Do you know any ...

Is Audacity suitable for me?

Hello everybody out there! I've been searching for a software which could do one thing: to separate voice from a mixed audio record or audio input . For example, a person is talking to the microphone, his/her voice has been recorded, but another guy is playing a musical instrument near the microphon...
