Steve's new version works perfectly for the rms values.
I chose the filter ranges based on this chart of the visible spectrum. Similarly useful is this chart of how each cone cell type responds to light. you can see it has a falloff and is centered.

The rms values are pretty much always reported as -1000. Taking the average sounds about right. For the frequency (If you want to try it, I really don't mind if you don't), maybe just return the three values (Red, Green, and Blue) by getting the rms DBs after running the frame through a band pass fi...

Thank you to both of you. I tried running the version for pasting into excel (Which is fine by me), but the rms didn't seem to work properly. I'm guessing the simple (rms) version is fine.
