But won't that merely adjust the output setting for when I'm editing? In other words, will I be able to transfer that same output level when I export into MP3 files?

I am combining two audio files into one. The problem is that one file has a lower volume than the other. I understand I can amplify the first track but then I cannot seem to get the exact sound level for both; is there an easy way to "equalize" the sound to bring the level of one up or down to the o...

Adding sound to "right" side
Hello everyone,
I just extracted the audio from a homemade DVD. Apparently whoever was recording it set it to stereo but the right speaker didn't pick up any thing! How do I change this in Audacity? Is there a way to make this a full MP3, that is to say, not just half?
