Sorry I wasn't clear.
I was making the mistake initially of putting the lead in the headphone socket next to the mac Line in that you mentioned. I followed your instructions and it works fine so thanks again.

It's now all sorted and I can record just off the mixer.

Hiya. I've just began to use Audacity with decks and a DJM 400 mixer. I have the two RCA's plugged in to the mixer and the single jack in to the headphone socket of a Mac. The version is 1.2.5 and the Mac is OS X 10. The problem I'm having is I want to just record what I'm playing through the mixer ...
