Audacity Forum

I am trying to record my voice on Audacity and when I to do there is a slight delay in what I’m saying and what is coming through my headphones. Its like it’s a half a second behind. Can this be fixed through adjustment?
It is very distracting

I have tried that link ten or more time over the past few days and It still tells me it can’t locate the file for download. Are there any other places I can get it?

Still a no go on installation of the LAME MP3 Encoder.
I have used the http://lame.buanzo.com.ar/ link to try and down load the program and I’m getting the same reply: “We were unable to locate the file to download” Can someone please help me. I am trying to use Audacity 1.2.6 on windows XP

Every time I try to install the LAME MP3 Encoder using kinks on the Audacity site and others listed here I always get the same reply “We were unable to locate the file to download” Can anyone suggest what might be going on here? One reply said the server might be busy but I have been trying this all...
