Level volume between two different voices
So, if I have an Audacity file with an interview of mine. One track is my voice and the other track is the guest's voice, what are the best steps to take in Audacity to to level to the same volume across the board?

Stereo problems
Have a technical question. I do an interview podcast via Skype and recording in WAV format using Pamela in stereo to separate my voice from the guest's voice. Post production is in Audacity. The recording is in Stereo track. I then split the stereo track during editing with my voice indicating left ...

Lesser sound quality recording from Audacity
I would like to improve the sound quality when recording from Audacity. Here is a 10-second sample of three tests of recordings: http://jeremyjesenovec.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/testingfiles.mp3 . (It's also attached.) The third is a recording using Audacity and it's not nearly as good as the f...

Converting WMV files from pamela in stereo
Does anyone know of the Windows Movie File format (.wmv) recorded from pamela (a recorder for skype) records in stereo with different tracks for different voices in the same way that pamela's mp3 recordings split the voices? If so, do have any advice or a software recommendation on how to convert it...

Re: Isolating multiple voices
The Skype conversation started as a video file but I had stopped the video a few seconds in and went completely audio with the call. It never occurred to me that it was recording as a windows movie file. I wasn't even aware That Pamela recorded movie files. No mp3 recorded. I don't know if the two v...

Isolating multiple voices
I made an interview recording via Skype & Pamela. Somehow the file saved as a .wmv file. I converted the file to mp3 but I would really like to be able to isolate the different speakers into different tracks. Is this possible?

Re: Easy button switch Make Stereo Track/Split Stereo Track
I did not realize I could select a section of both tracks at the same time. I figured it out. So much easier.

Easy button switch Make Stereo Track/Split Stereo Track
Is there a plugin or button that makes it easy to switch from Make Stereo Track to Split Stereo Track and back. When I am editing a skype interview with two tracks, sometimes I need to delete a whole section from both tracks. Sometimes I just need to mute part of one track. Going back and forth from...
