How Do I Get Chris' Compressor To Work in 2.2.1?
After updating from 2.0.3 to 2.2.1 Chris' Compressor no longer appears in the effects menu. I didn't change anything except the version number. How do I get it to appear in the effects menu in the new version?
Thanks,

Re: Reversing Fade In
Thanks for the suggestions and quick replies! No, I don't have access to the original work. It's an Audacity recording of an internet radio song. For some reason they fade in songs. It's not super important to undo, it's just kind of annoying. Even if the envelope tool isn't ideal, it'll probably do...

Reversing Fade In
I need to eliminate the fade in from a track, so the volume is 100% from the beginning. I've been tinkering with the adjustable fade effect, but haven't been successful. How do I accomplish this? Thank you.

Re: Recorded playback is distorted, not live audio
I just purchased the Behringer ufo202, so hopefully that will clear up the recording issues. Recorded playback is distorted, not live audio
In the past I have recorded cassettes to my pc via the mic in jack without problem, using Audacity as the sound editor. Then, after not doing it for awhile, I tried to restart again, but noticed that, while I am still able to hear and record the audio through Aud., the recorded portion (and only the...

Compression Flaring
Hi All, Just wondering why, when applying Compress Dynamics 1.2.6 to some files (so far it's been only some samples I have recorded myself), the volume at the end will sometimes flare. I have attached an audio sample, for those interested in hearing it. Maybe this is a known problem with an easy ans...

OK, thanks guys. Now the next problem is...
Why does moving point labels cause them to lose their snapping function? The only solution I found was to delete the label and replace it with another to regain its snap-to ability.
