Audacity 1.3 on Windows 7 SLOW RESPONSE time
Howdy! I have an Asus Windows 7 notebook laptop that I absolutely love. I am running the beta version of Audacity on it as recommended. However, I am experiencing a lot of frustration with EXTREMELY slow response time when giving any command in Audacity. Scroll left/right, Control F, Control Shift F...

Re: Overwhelming BUzz while recording tapes to mp3
Steve! Thanks so much for the specific answer! That solved the problem for the Alesis tape deck player (USB tape to computer archiver), but the little "tape express" by ion audio is still having the major distortion and slow playback. Re: Overwhelming BUzz while recording tapes to mp3
Thanks Koz! I tried unplugging everything overnight and left laptop off. Tried every USB port. It is an overwhelming distortion. Overwhelming BUzz while recording tapes to mp3
Howdy! I have the newest beta version installed on my Asus, Windows 7 laptop. Up until a few minutes ago, I have been successfully changing over my cassette tapes to mp3's thanks so much to Audacity. Cleaning up recordings
How do I clean up a recording I converted from an old cassette tape? There is a lot of fuzz just because of the tape, not the software. Walk me through like I'm 4 years old, please. Thank you!

How to create tracks in the live recording?
How do I split the recording I have done after I am finished into tracks (like song tracks on a cd)? It is too long for one cd and I need for it to be in tracks for better navigation once cds of it are burned.
