Thanks both. I tried 1.3.6 on my Mac Powerbook, but only 1.2.6 on the Windows machine I was using for recording. Is the sampling rate limited by Audacity, or just the card?
I was hoping to be able to record at 192KHz, in order to finely record some timing signals, but Audacity wouldn't let me select a rate above 100KHz. Does Audacity only work up to that rate, or is the limitation purely in the sound card?

Apologies for what is doubtless a naive question, but I am new to OSX. The few applications I have installed also came as .dmg files, and when run, instructed me to copy a folder to the main Applications folder. Audacity 1.3.6 doesn't do that - it just presents the program in the virtual disk. It ru...
