I figured it out. i removed all the rp files from my /library/audio/plugins/components
folder. thanks

I tried removing all the plugins, I followed the instructions on the link you posted. It didn't help at all unfortunately

Oh yeah. Weird. The digitech RP250 is an effects pedal I sometimes use with garageband. I've never actually used it with Audacity. So is it trying to load the pedal but fails because the pedal's not plugged in? Is there a way I can have it forget about the rp250?
