When I try to record from Cassettte to my computer I get no sound, and when I try to troubleshoot this I get a message saying 'USB Composite Device is an older USB Device and might not work with USB 3.0. I use Windows 10 and Internet Explorer 11.

I put the Headphones in to mute the speakers when I'm recording something online, and no sound comes out of the speakers during recording, but if I Timer record, I plug the headphones in to mute the speakers, but sound comes out of the speakers when recording starts. How can I stop this?.

Software play through is turned off, but sound still comes through with headphones connected, when timer recording starts. I am using Windows 7, Audacity 2.0.3, having obtained the .exe installer.
