I'm using my motherboard's onboard audio, so no sound card.
The realtek settings program doesn't show any effects in use either.
Realtek is capable of applying audio enhancements ...

Re: Audio extremely tinny after 2-3 seconds, WINDOWS SOUND ENHANCEMENTS ARE OFF

When i try to record me singing and playing guitar together, the sound gets extremely tinny and awful, despite using a Blue Yeti. I've disabled both the sound enhancements for my microphone as well as my headphones, I've reinstalled Audacity, and my audio drivers, nothing seems to work, im not quit...

Re: Nyquist Multipy Sine with LPF Noise

I would like to randomly modulate the frequency, amplitude ... Here is the script I used. (mult (aref *track* 0) (aref *track* 1)) (mult (aref *track* 0) (aref *track* 1)) Just does Amplitude Modulation, a/k/a tremolo, (not Frequency Modulation). https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a4/...

I was wondering if there's an effect or a prompt that could lower the bitrate in an audio file. If there isn't a plugin for bitcrushing is there a nyquist prompt that could lower the bitrate of the audio file?
bit-rate & bit-depth are two different things.
Bitcrushing reduces bit-depth.

The mic level slider could cure your -12dB problem , (but not your clipping problem).
