Maybe a granular plug-in, e.g. , (some permit grains to be reversed)

Re: Opinion, please?

... I wonder what else I can do. Should I reduce mic gain to Medium? Would that help? ... Increasing the mic signal could ensure it always clears the hidden noise-gate, but IMO that's not a satisfactory work-around. The word "gate" is not in the H2 manual , so software running on the computer has t...

... a similar effect, to the intro of Libet Delay (the piano note hanging for far longer than usual). The intro to Libet Delay has got EchoVerb with ping-pong, (no reversal, just echo/delay, reverb, & ping-pong panning). These plugins may be of use ... https ://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Nyquist_Ef...

Re: Opinion, please?

Here's a clip made with the H2 (mic gain high) and recorded on Audacity (mic gain 50). Let me know how this can be improved. Attachments 2021-6-18 H2 wav.wav (1.89 MiB) Downloaded It's perfectly clear what you're saying, but there is still evidence of processing, e.g. the motor (fan?) noise is mone...

Re: Opinion, please?

Hey, Jademan! That worked! Now I have the H2 connected with USB to the computer tower, and it is recognized by Windows and by Audacity, and Zoom can hear it. Thanks Jademan, (better than my solution). I found in Downloads an empty folder labeled MAXX Audio, downloaded a few days ago--I don't rememb...

Re: NEED HELP ASAP! cleaning up phone audio

The audio, as you might assume, is awful in comparison to mine. Is there anyway to edit/clean up/fix their audio so it doesn't sound so drastically bad compared to mine??? ... If part of the problem is difference in volume between the two parties, that can be improved with Audacity's " LevelSpeech2...

Re: Opinion, please?

... I worry about what Trebor finds in his scans ... The problems are actually audible, not just visible on spectrograms. Can you all in good conscience give me an OK to just stick with H2 + Plextone? Here's a heretical plan-B: Audacity's competitor OCENaudio . OCENaudio can be used with the indust...

Re: I'm teaching AUDACITY on ZOOM... problems

... I record my ZOOM classes to upload to YouTube, but the videos have awful sound – they're useless in terms of demonstrating how to improve sound quality ... Your screen-capture (& video editor) software will probably have the ability to select the audio quality. There is a trade-off: higher qual...

Audcaity has a Brazilian competitor ... https://www.ocenaudio.com/pt/

OCENaudio is not as powerful as Audacity, but ...
unlike Audacity, there is a 64-bit Windows version of OCENaudio which can run (some) 64-bit plugins.

... Zoom ...
Zoom video-conference has noise-reduction & noise-gate audio-enhancements.
It may be possible for audio still to be in the grip of Skype/Zoom/etc even after you have finished using those apps.
