Re: Nyquist Multipy Sine with LPF Noise

I would like to randomly modulate the frequency, amplitude ... Here is the script I used. (mult (aref *track* 0) (aref *track* 1)) (mult (aref *track* 0) (aref *track* 1)) Just does Amplitude Modulation, a/k/a tremolo, (not Frequency Modulation). https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a4/...

I think there is a gain limit inbuild in the microphone. So I will need to replace the microphone.
What about turning down the mic level & mic-boost sliders ...

I was wondering if there's an effect or a prompt that could lower the bitrate in an audio file. If there isn't a plugin for bitcrushing is there a nyquist prompt that could lower the bitrate of the audio file?
bit-rate & bit-depth are two different things.
Bitcrushing reduces bit-depth.

Re: GSNAP debug report

VST plugins can fail intermittently in Audacity, try restarting Audacity and enabling the GSNAP again.
Alternatively try the free version of Grallion2 as a replacement for GSNAP ... https://youtu.be/SnxTfZ3uXSo

I was unable to find any setting that can increase the amplitude ...
The mic level slider could cure your -12dB problem , (but not your clipping problem).

Re: Having trouble with Pyle 8-channel mixer for podcasting

8-channel mixer ... Does anybody have any suggestions for a better setup? Only some multi-track audio interfaces (mixers) are compatible with Audacity https ://manual.audacityteam.org/man/multi_channel_recording.html Audcaity's (free) competitor OCENaudio can work with the industry-standard ASIO dr...

... I could, in theory, charge a $50 licensing fee for one of my songs ... Before going to the trouble of becoming Kevin McLeod 2.0, with your own music licensing website, you could see if there is a demand for commercial use via a commercial audio library, e.g. https://www.audiosparx.com/sa/module...

Fixable, but much better results if it is avoided in the first place.
