I just got EVERYTHING to work with Gapless burning VIA Nero 8. Thanks to all who helped privide advice.
The mixtape doctor is in session!
Now I have some really rare audio from old DJ promos from the early 90s and late 80s on CD.

grr now I can't get Nero to recognise the burner!
It is recognised in Media Player's burning suite
it won't even bring the 'autodetect' wizard up
anyideas?

Thanks Koz Replies below. Just a note. Red Book Music CDs have no provision for track or song information--MetaData. When you plunk your CD into a computer and all that information shows up, it's the computer going on-line and finding out the information based on the length of each song and the cut ...

I have already read this article and it doesn't solve the problem (I can divide tracks, but I cannot make continuous constant mixes with track info and breaks coded in)
any ideas?
