Audacity Forum

I was wondering if audacity can use all the cores of a core 2 quad processor for resource heavy tasks..

Hi everyone.. This is my first post on these forums.
I am a student and I want to study the different waveforms of different musical notes. I believe audacity can help me here (correct me if I am wrong). Does anyone know where I can get audio files of pure musical notes to import into audacity?
