Bingo; that worked. Thank-you. I would encourage you to include this most helpful tip on your FAQ's if not the basic recording instructions. I suspect the same fix would hold true for all USB mics?

I'm running Audacity 2.0.3 using OSX 10.5.8 on a MacBook laptop. The Mac sees the Samson Go Mic just fine. In preferences, I've set it as the dafault input. Audacity does not recognize the mic.
