Also, is there a way to completely disable the "meta" window on save... At the moment when saving all the labels as individual files.. you need to press enter a zillion times to skip that window.

Not only many of them.... but they are often long as well. I am only using the 30min thing as an example. I thought there might be a way using some kind of amplitude gate or something to automatically set the break points?

yeah, but if I understand that it looks for gaps of silence. Sort of like for splitting music tracks fomr a single recording into individual tracks.. but as this is a recording of a voice ... there is gaps of silence all over the place so it splits it into like 500zillion files.

Is there a way to split a large wav file into segments, but have each segment cut at a break in the sound? Like say I have a 1 hour recording of a pod cast... and I want to cut it into 20 min sections.. or around that size... and when the cut is made it is only made when I am not talking? I know abo...

Sorry if this is off topic, but I do not really know where else to post this... I love the Truncate Silence tool... This is extremely good for making tutorials, as you can speak naturally, take time to think and the truncate silence will remove these pauses and the flow of your speaking sounds like ...

So I make a lot of youtube videos and have nvr really had a problem with recording, but I recently pulled up my carpet and put in wooded floors.. looks great but now myu recording has a echoey kind of sound to it, like I am in a much larger room as there is nothing to absorb the sound waves I guess....
